After three months of working at Borders Wheelock Place, I finally had to let it go just like that. so this post is a tribute to everything there. It's been a wonderful journey. I remembered my first pay, my first uniform, my first swipe cards, my first midnight shifts and etc. Along the way, I learn social lessons and confidence. Interactions and information are really important and only Borders taught me that.
My last day was Leon's birthday and we all sang him a birthday song. I'm going to miss their hysterical gestures and jokes. No more dancing leon. No more bullying Benard. No more midnight dinner or coffee with HJN, Aiin and Hafizah. No more chats with Audrey L. and Nadirah. No more racism with Wai Lin. No more gossips with Azrul. No more lame jokes by ily, dan, didi, nicole and colin. No more random kicks tap pokes nudges and curses from Amir Wally, Huda, Aina Nazry and Ashraf. No more laughing at azhari when he got sudden cramps. No more slow works with Ayu. No more helping Pei Shan bullying Aiin.
